Shopping Vintage In Le Marais
Shopping in Paris is like being in a very vivid dream...you pinch yourself and realize oh wait! This is actually happening. Now if you're a lover of all things Vintage like I am, then Le Marais district is where you need to go. As I walked from shop to shop I could hear so many different accents all marveling at these untapped treasures we had found. I was talking to this English woman I had befriended during my shopping escapades and she went on to tell me about how this area was some kind of Vintage gold mine. The further I walked and the more I saw, I knew she was right. This was the Mecca of all things Vintage. #VINTAGESHOPPINGOFYOURDREAMS #YOUREWELCOME ;)
My first stop was on one of the most famous streets of Paris, Rue de Rivoli called Come on Eileen Vintage. There I found all of my designer goodies. They had a great assortment from Chanel to YSL.
FREE'P'STAR is a great funky little vintage boutique with an excellent selection of leather goods. Now the great thing about this place is once you've scavenged through everything you can just walk across the street to 61 Rue de la Varrerie where they have the second store and, if you're feeling ambitious their 3rd store is located at 20 Rue de Rivoli.
Kilo shop Kawaii definitely had an original spin on Vintage shopping. Here you don't so much focus on the brands of clothing as you do the weight of it.
Hippy Market is exactly what you think it is, hippy clothing galore. The mid 60's to anything from the 70's is my absolute favorite era for Vintage fashion so, as you could imagine this place was pretty magical for me. They also had a great variety of mens clothing and accessories. I would definitely pay them another visit my next trip.
And here is a look I compiled from some of my Vintage purchases :)
