Jun 18 Rollin with the Homies

Summer is pretty much my favorite season and not just because my Birthday is in JULY ;) In Chicago it's the time for people to come out and live for all this season has to offer including Festivals, rooftops, gourmet food, even Fashion. We're no New York nor would we wanna be but we are a tight knit group and, that I love.

To say I love fringe would be an u͟n͟d͟e͟r͟s͟t͟a͟t͟e͟m͟e͟n͟t͟. This particular mini skirt is one of my favorites, it has these deceiving little fringe strings that hit all the way down to the floor. Definitely an eye catcher, maybe even a conversation starter? We'll see. Denim is always a #staple in my book and with our well known unpredictable weather this little red riding hood anorak is perfect for day and night.

I'm digging all the vibrant unusual colors I'm seeing this season that are coming out of the woodwork. This golden yellow statement necklace for instance....I mean come on. I'm seeing it everywhere Summer '16 along with tangerine and other golden tones.
