Turkish Delight
Istanbul to Izmir, Turkey is no doubt one of the most beautifully exotic, historical, cool places I've ever been to. Turkish cuisine has quickly become my absolute favorite.....Kofte, Manti dumplings, Iskender with a dollop of yogurt, Lahmacun, the list goes on. I'm a coffee drinker myself but will always partake in some traditional Cay (tea), it's in the black tea family so it has a nice kick. ↠
The Only country you can visit both Europe and Asia. The connecting bridge which takes you from one continent to the next is over the Bosphorus, a natural strait of water a sight you won't wanna miss. This year making it my third trip to Turkey, I can honestly say If you go with an open mind and an open heart you won't be disappointed....it has it all!
Kahvalti (breakfast) at Beyaz Firin Restaurant, they also have a great bakery! You can find a couple of them on the Asian side in Istanbul.
The Prince Islands, only a 30 min ferry ride away from Istanbul. Great little shops and a nice getaway from the city💛
Eye of Sophia (Hagia Sophia). Made in 537 AD, a former Cathedral, Mosque during the Ottoman Empire and now Museum on the European side of Istanbul.
The Cisterns, the old water filtration system for the Palace of Constantinople.
Kitties are seriously everywhere 😸
Kadikoy is like the Wicker Park of Istanbul but with a great view of the sea ;) I can't help but feel relaxed and at home there. Tons of shopping and endless cafés.
