Fall made easy
Right in the midst of fall and it's finally time to layer up! My 2nd favorite season and for good reason. Who doesn't love a good fall walk with your PSL in one hand and your newest iphone in the other (Instagramming each leaf on the ground as if it had been the first time anyone thought to do it). Now I know what you're thinking, basic ass bitch right? Wrong! I say you can have your cake and eat it too. Do all those great fall things you love to do, even the over done cliché ones. But when it comes to your wardrobe, take that extra step...it's easy!
Take this outfit for instance, it looks pretty snazzy but in actuality it took me about 5 seconds to throw this together. The key is layering great pieces. A big trend this season is layering button downs with just about everything, a puff sleeve under a sleeveless dress, a crisp boxy cut under an oversized knit and my personal favorite is with a nice structured sweatshirt. A lot of retailers are even selling them as one, this sweater I'm wearing from the H&M trend line is a great example of an all in 1! Add some key accessories and you've got yourself a great fall look. ;)
